I'm Vasumithra Therli, Vasu to just about everyone. A founder who still thinks like an engineer, I turned a childhood fascination with technology into Picktime: an appointment scheduling and autonomous customer-interaction platform trusted by businesses around the world, from solo professionals to large institutions.

My path ran from software developer to technical architect to running my own technology consulting practice, years spent helping startups turn raw ideas into working products. That's where I kept meeting the same story: brilliant small businesses drowning in operational chaos. Missed appointments, double bookings, scattered customer data. I learned to understand customers in layers: what they say, what they actually do, and what their day really feels like from inside their shoes. So I built the complete, affordable answer, then solved the hardest problem in software: distribution. Picktime earned its way around the world the slow, honest way, one delighted customer telling the next.

Today Picktime is pushing into conversational AI and voice automation, so a small business never misses a customer again. When I'm not building, I'm mentoring aspiring founders, speaking about product and leadership, or hunting down a properly pulled espresso.

Every missed call is a missed customer. My work in artificial intelligence is about making sure that never happens again: an autonomous AI receptionist that picks up every call, understands what the caller needs, and books the appointment end to end, in natural conversation, around the clock.

Under the hood, that means conversational AI and natural language processing tuned for real businesses, LLM orchestration that routes each moment of a call to the right model, voice AI workflows built on intelligent VoIP and call routing, and real-time decision engines that commit a booking only when it actually fits.
